We see that you are in Canada where the de minimis is $15 USD. We assure you that your extra rewards will be marked below $15 so you won't need to pay duties on your extra rewards. We understand you were disappointed to pay customs on your Sesame, and regret that it is a cost of purchasing goods internationally. Please note that customs duties will also be incurred when we ship you the Wi-Fi Access Point should you decide to purchase it.
We're sorry to hear you've had trouble getting Sesame to work. We do offer a 1-year warranty on Sesame and would be happy to help troubleshoot or offer a replacement if the warranty is still valid. It's true we haven't yet added HomeKit, but we absolutely have implemented auto-unlock and knock to unlock. These features are available under your account settings. We're sorry to hear about the reliability issues and would be happy to troubleshoot if you let us know the issues you've encountered with Sesame.
