Sorry to hear about that! Sounds like there may be a sensor strip issue with your Sesame. Unfortunately it can't be fixed remotely.
Once you return home, please uninstall Sesame from your door, turn the thumb turn 180 degrees, then reinstall Sesame and reconfigure lock angles. This should move the damaged section of the sensor to the opposite side so it will no longer cause the incorrect readings. If the issue persists even after trying this, you most likely would need a replacement.
