Thanks for reaching out to us and sorry about the issues you've had with the API! We asked our devs to check out your logs and it looks like the reason the API requests aren't getting carried out properly is due to poor connectivity between the Wi-Fi Access Point and your Sesame. The API only returns whether the request was successfully received by our servers, but if our servers can't reach your Sesame, it won't lock or unlock. In addition, make sure that the Sesame app is closed on your devices so they're not connecting to Sesame, as the server also will not be able to connect to Sesame if it's occupied by another device.
Here are a few things you can do to improve the connectivity between Sesame and the Wi-Fi Access Point:
1. Change Sesame's batteries
2. Move the Wi-Fi Access Point closer to Sesame
3. Unlink and relink the Sesame and Wi-Fi Access Point
4. Unplug and replug the Wi-Fi Access Point
Hopefully the steps above will help the Wi-Fi Access Point connect more consistently to Sesame and allow the API request to be successfully passed to Sesame. Let us know if you continue to experience these issues. Thanks! - CANDY HOUSE
