It's fine to clean the sensors with Alcohol/Acetone/Water, but we didn't have a chance to try benzin or soap though. The tracks are most likely etched in so they're unlikely to be erasable, but it's fine to clean the sensor carefully.
Since you will be removing Sesame from your door for cleaning, we recommend turning the thumb turn 180 degrees before you reinstall, then reconfiguring the lock and unlock angles once it's on your door again. This will ensure that a different section of the sensor strip is being used for locking/unlocking. Changing the section of the sensor used will likely do more to extend the longevity of your Sesame than cleaning the sensor strip!
