is this function an "iPhone Exclusive"? I did not see it on my Asus Zenfone Laser 2, with Android 6.thank you for your answer in advance.Best regardsChun Ming LU
Hi, did you ever get an answer to your question? I have the same issue.
No, I did not get any reply noir feedback. Really want to have this function.
I have an iPhone and I don't see that this feature is available on my phone either. So, it's not just Android users that can't access the knock feature. Would be really nice to get an answer. It's crazy that this question was posted 11 days ago and still no feedback. Not a good sign.
@luchunming1971 @helluva66We're working on the knock function on Android, so you won't see a button for this for now. Sorry!
Please follow the guide posted above to set up the function on your iPhone. It should be available.
My account settings page does not look like the above example. It does not give me the option to set up the knock feature. It goes right from change password to extra security.
I can't find or get the knock feature to work and the Auto-Unlock just says "Welcome back" but does not automatically unlock the door. I have to manually open my ipod touch and put my password in and then hit the button.... And i don't even see the "Knock" option.....
Due to limitation hardware, Knock is only available for iPhone 5S and above. It requires a sensor that iPod doesn't have. As for Auto-Unlock, we were not supporting it on iPod, but our dev has plans to add it. It should be added in about a week or so.
Thank you so much! I'm Glad to hear it!
Wasn't aware that the "Knock" feature was only available for Apple users, especially since you website, kickstarter, video, FAQ, manual, box, or emails make no mention of it not being available for Android users.
I see people discussing the knock feature. Is it only available for some users because I don't see any way to enable or configure it in my app. I'm running the latest version according to the app store.
im looking for the same thing if someone can help us thanks !
We noticed there was a bug causing Knock to go missing on iPhone 7. Our dev is fixing it right now and that should be solved after re-downloading the app via TestFlight. I'll keep you guys posted on when it's fixed!
Any word on when this will be available?
I have an iPhone 6+ running iOS 10.0.2. The knock feature does not work. I have reset the Sesame, I have deleted my account and reloaded it, and I have powered down my phone and restarted it. None of those steps worked to activate the knock feature.
Knock is still there. Have you put a tick next to the feature to enable it?
I can confirm that the knock is not working on an iPhone 6S Plus nor on an iPhone 7Plus. It works fine on an iPhone 5S.
I am also having lot os issues with the bluetooth part on my iPhone 7Plus. It is very intermittent. Hopefully a firmware update will fix this.
Evelyn: I have ticks next to auto-unlock and the knock feature. The auto-unlock feature works sometimes, but not all the time. The knock does not work ever.
Knock does not work on my iPhone 7 plus either. I have all boxes checked, restarted, reinstalled, etc. Doesn't work ever. I tried to return the product because it doesn't have an advertised feature, but they wouldn't give me a refund. Kind of unbelievable. Amy basically stopped responding to my requests for a refund, simply talking around the issue. Very unprofessional.
