I have a Sesame Lock and using a Pixel XL which was working fine prior to a couple of weeks ago, I am now getting this message when I try to update the auto unlock location. Anyone see this?

Error:Status{statusCode=PLACES_API_ACCESS_NOT_CONFIGURED, resolution+null}

So my phone (Android 7.1.1) updated the Sesame app to version 1.0.17 yesterday and the AUTO UNLOCK feature is now gone! There is no mention of it in the Account Settings....?

I'm afraid the issue is on your side. Upon clicking the link above, prior to hitting the download link I can click on the details of the shared file. The size of the file is 8MB (7.7MB). Could you reupload the file?

Sadly, it's not working. As additional measure, I downloaded the file to a PC and than transferrred the apk to my phone. Still... file is corrupt. The phone recognizes it is a Sesame update. "Installing" screen will display briefly and a message afterwards the the package is corrupt.

Oh no, sorry to hear it! What was the file size for your download this time? It should be 8.1mb. The file is working for us so we're not able to reproduce the issue. We're really sorry about the lack of auto-unlock! Our priority this month is on Wi-Fi Access Point support for the Android app. We will be tackling auto-unlock once this is complete, so ideally auto-unlock will be available again within the next few months. Autounlock is back with the new update. Great. Thanks.
New annoying thing showed up. After turning the autounlock on the notification remains constantly in the status bar and cannot be swiped away (Auto-Unlock is enabled. Android will automatically....). Android 7.1.1.

Yes, the notification is there to make sure the auto-unlock service isn't suspended by your OS. As long as the notification is there, auto-unlock is active, and we designed the notification as a way to both keep the auto-unlock service alive and to let the user know that auto-unlock is active on their phone. I would like to know how this auto-unlock will work with auto-lock.

Will the lock will keep unlock/lock if I set auto-lock after 1 min if I stay outside for a while?

you have to leave the vicinity of the lock so the phone completely looses range (tells you goodbye) in order for the auto-unlock to function again.

Auto-lock will lock regardless of the auto-unlock setting.
