Thank you dj1 and Selik for contacting us and we are sorry to hear that Sesame is making grinding noise. Based on your description, your Sesame's gear may be misaligned and you can fix it by doing the following steps:
1.Please remove the cover of your Sesame by pushing down on the center and lifting the cover away
2. follow the steps in this video to realign the gears in your How to Align Sesame Gear
Basically you want to put pressure on the opposite ends of Sesame (the flat end and the round end), and carefully pull the round thumb turn away from the base where the batteries and motor are while the Sesame is turning. This will help the teeth of the gears between the thumb turn and the base to catch again so Sesame can turn smoothly.
If above method doesn't work, could you please send us the following so we can determine the issue:
1) Your order number
2)Video showing Sesame defect
3) your Sesame account email address
We're sorry for the inconvenience, and we hope we were able to solve your problem!
