Sorry to hear about the issue with auto-unlock for you! To speed it up, we recommend keeping the screen unlocked. Many device manufacturers set their devices to be "at rest" or "battery saving" when the screen is locked, which can interfere with the Bluetooth scanning function required for auto-unlock to work. If you keep the screen unlocked, it will take less time for your phone to connect to Sesame via Bluetooth and pass the unlock command.
If your connection speed is slow even when you're not using auto-unlock, here are a few things you can try to improve Bluetooth connection on your device:
- Turn off and turn on your Bluetooth
- Restart your phone
- Turn off all battery saving settings for the Sesame app
- If your device offers this option, go to your Bluetooth settings and remove the pairing information for your Sesame, then re-pair
- Reset network settings, wipe cache partition, or reset your phone, then re-pair your phone with Sesame
Please give these tips a try and hopefully the connection time will be reduced! - CANDY HOUSE
